The CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) is inviting applications for a Project Assistant-II position. This industry-sponsored project explores the feasibility of tank-based cultivation of the edible seaweed Ulva lactuca at the Mandapam Camp station in Tamil Nadu.

๐ Eligibility Criteria
✅ Essential Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science / Marine Biology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Fisheries Sciences / Aquaculture / Environmental Science or related disciplines.
⭐ Desirable Experience:
Prior experience in Ulva cultivation, edible seaweed handling, or tank-based cultivation systems.
๐ฏ Age Limit:
Maximum 35 years (Relaxation applicable as per CSIR/Govt norms).
๐ฌ Nature of Work
- Field collection and cultivation of edible seaweed (Ulva).
- Managing tank-based seaweed cultivation systems at semi-outdoor conditions.
- Data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
