🔬 Project Details

Applications are invited for one Junior Research Assistantship (JRA) position in the Council of Science and Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CST-UP) sponsored project. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Project Title: "Bioprospecting fast decomposer and plant growth promoting microorganisms to develop organic rich bio-fortified compost cum biofertilizers for enhancing sustainable vegetable production"
(BHU Project Code: P-26/0161)

Duration: 2 years and 3 months.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Science / Agriculture / Environmental Sciences.
• Academic Record: Must have a first-class academic record in both graduation and post-graduation degrees.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as of 1st April 2025 (Age relaxation applicable as per GOI rules).
• Domicile: The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Desirable/Preferred: Candidates qualified in UGC-NET/GATE/CSIR-NET with research experience in Plant-microbe interactions, biofertilizers, PGPR, bicomposting, biostimulants, and sustainable agriculture will be preferred.

💰 Fellowship Structure

• 1st & 2nd Year: Rs. 25,000/- fixed per month
• 3rd Year: Rs. 28,000/- fixed per month
