The CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) is inviting applications for the post of Project Assistant-II. This role is based at the Marine Algal Research Station (MARS) in Mandapam, Tamil Nadu, and focuses on the tank-based cultivation of edible seaweed.

Project Title: "Feasibility study of tank-based cultivation of edible seaweed Ulva lactuca at semi-outdoor conditions"
Nature of Work: Field collection, tank-based cultivation of Ulva, and report preparation.
๐ Eligibility Criteria
✅ Essential Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science / Marine Biology / Oceanography / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Botany / Plant Biology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Fisheries Sciences / Aquaculture or Environmental Science.
⭐ Desirable Experience:
Prior experience with Ulva, edible seaweeds, or tank-based seaweed cultivation.
๐ฏ Age Limit:
Maximum 35 years (Age relaxation applicable as per CSIR norms).
