BRIC-National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute (BRIC-NABI) invites eligible Indian candidates to attend walk-in interviews for various research positions. These vacancies are purely temporary and contractual, supporting high-impact projects in crop bio-fortification, biotechnology, and agricultural biomass development.

1. Project: Biomass Leachate Production (GAP-110)

Research Associate I (RA-I) 1 Position Emoluments: ₹ 58,000/- + HRA	Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences (Chemistry / Physical Chemistry / Electrochemistry) / Chemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Agricultural Biotechnology with at least one first-author SCI publication.	Project Title: Biomass leachate production for agricultural development. 2. Wheat Nutritional Quality Projects (GAP-109 & NABI-Core)

Project: Fructan content related wheat genes functional evaluation & silencing. 4. Project: Sustainable Pichia pastoris System (GAP-97)

Project Associate I (PA-1) 1 Position Emoluments: ₹ 37,000/- + HRA	Master's degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Science / Molecular Biology with valid CSIR-UGC-NET or GATE qualification score.	Job Profile: Strain engineering of Pichia pastoris to develop methanol-free induction protein production pathways. Desirable: Yeast PCR, gene editing, CRISPR-Cas setups, and protein purification. 5. Banana Bio-fortification & Molecular Characterization (GAP-02 & Core)

Project Assistant (PA) 2 Positions Emoluments: ₹ 27,000/- + HRA	B.Sc. or equivalent Degree / Diploma with minimum 55% aggregate marks.	Project: BIRAC Banana Bio-fortification (GAP-02). Desirable: Plant tissue culture, maintaining transgenic tissue lines under containment, farm layout trials. Tenure: Till December 2026 Age Limit: 28 Years
Field / Lab Worker 1 Position Emoluments: ₹ 26,500/- (Fixed)	B.Sc. or equivalent Degree / Diploma with minimum 55% marks. Must have cleared 10th class board exams.	Project: GAP-02 Banana Project. Desirable: Executing field trials and reading manuals in Hindi and English. Age Limit: 50 Years
SRF / Research Associate I 1 Position RA-I Scale: ₹ 58,000/- + HRA SRF Scale: ₹ 42,000/- + HRA	Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR MVSc/M.Pharma/M.Tech with 3 years of engineering design/research experience and an SCI paper.	Project: Characterization of engineered plants (NABI-Core). Desirable: Plant genetic engineering, genome editing tracking, gene cloning, and plant protein expression. Age Limit: 40 Years
