Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for temporary contractual positions of Project Associate - I at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram. The selection process will be conducted via an online interview setup for vacancies across Marine Sciences, Biophysics, and Life Sciences.

* Category (A) pay scale is applicable to scholars who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE, OR those who qualified National Level Examinations conducted by Central Govt Departments (like DBT/DST) and their agencies.
** Category (B) pay scale applies to other eligible applicants who do not satisfy the criteria for Category (A).
General Instructions & Tenure Guidelines
- Age Relaxation: Standard upper-age limit relaxations apply for SC / ST / OBC / PwD and female candidates as per standard Government of India / CSIR regulations.
- Separate Applications: If you are eligible and wish to apply for both post codes, you must submit separate application streams explicitly indicating each Post Code.
- Tenure: The positions are strictly temporary and valid up to the total running lifetime duration of the respective projects.
- Waitlist Policy: Waitlisted candidates may be tracked for future project vacancies arising within a year from the interview date based on order of merit.
