Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a purely temporary research position at the School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, JNU. The position is sanctioned under the high-value project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India.

Initial Tenure 06 Months (Extendable based on performance evaluation)

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related computational field from a recognized university.
• Academic Profile: Candidates must possess an excellent overall academic track record with verified research experience.
• Desirable Skills: Strong background in computational biology with proven hands-on experience in various applications of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis is highly preferred.

Terms & Appointment Conditions

The post is completely temporary and co-terminus with the lifetime of the project. The initial engagement will be for 6 months or as per the guidelines of the Selection Committee. It can be extended or curtailed based entirely on the candidate’s performance assessment and at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
