🎓 Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in any of the following disciplines:
- M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology
- M.Sc. in Microbiology
- M.Sc. in Agriculture
- M.Tech.
- M.Pharm.
⭐ Desirable Qualification
- Experience in research or industry.
- Demonstrated experience in handling individual projects.
- Experience in scientific report writing.
- Experience in carrying out scientific and technical tasks.
🔬 Job Description & Responsibilities
The Project Assistant will report to the Project Coordinator and the Chief Coordinator/Principal Investigator of the BIRAC E-YUVA Project. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive scientific and administrative support to the Centre.
Major responsibilities include:
- Maintaining laboratory facilities.
- Collaborating with fellows from undergraduate to post-doctoral levels.
- Managing and maintaining laboratory instruments.
- Handling laboratory and project-related purchases.
- Overseeing project finances.
- Managing day-to-day activities of the Centre.
- Maintaining meticulous project documentation.
- Organizing seminars, workshops and other academic events.
- Assisting the Project Coordinator in preparing research proposals.
- Assisting in preparation of business plans.
- Supporting innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
- Performing other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator and Chief Coordinator/Principal Investigator.
🎂 Age Limit
The candidate must not exceed 32 years as on the last date of application.
Age Relaxation: Age may be relaxed by 5 years for women candidates.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Candidates holding an M.Sc. in Life Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology or Agriculture, M.Tech. or M.Pharm. can apply, provided they satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Candidates with prior research or industry experience, individual project handling, scientific report writing and scientific/technical work may have an advantage under the desirable qualification.
