The National Institute of Plant Genome Research (BRIC-NIPGR), New Delhi, invites online applications for its prestigious Ph.D. program in frontier areas of plant biology. Selected candidates will be academically enrolled at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad, with hostel accommodations provided by NIPGR subject to availability.
📅 Important Admission Dates

• Closing Date for Fees & Applications: June 12, 2026 (05:30 PM)
• Tentative Interview / Viva-Voce Dates: July 2 and 3, 2026
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
• Academic Degree: Master's degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or allied disciplines with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD). Candidates completing their degree by August 31, 2026, are also eligible.
• National Fellowship: Must have qualified a valid national level doctoral fellowship test (CSIR-UGC NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, or equivalent) with a junior research fellowship activation window valid up to at least December 31, 2026.
