Amity University, Noida invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for a temporary research position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Amity Institute of Neuropsychology & Neurosciences (AINN). This research project is funded by the prestigious Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

Project Title: "Role of Neuronal death and immune response in Muller glia-mediated retinal regeneration in zebrafish"
Position Title Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 01 Post

Salary & Fellowship Scale

Project Year Monthly Fellowship Amount
Year 1 & Year 2 ₹37,000/- per month + HRA
Year 3 ₹42,000/- per month + HRA

Eligibility Criteria & Experience

  • Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences, including but not restricted to Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Physiology, Zoology, or Biomedical Sciences from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must possess at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in their Master's degree.
  • Desirable Experience:
    • Valid national-level qualification score in NET / GATE / CSIR / UGC / DBT / ICMR JRF.
    • Hands-on wet-lab experience in cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry techniques.
    • Prior hands-on experience in zebrafish handling models will be highly preferred.
