Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for a high-profile post-doctoral research position of Research Associate II (RA-II) at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Roorkee. The project is funded by the Ministry of Ayush under the prestigious AYURGYAN Scheme.
Project Title: "Molecular studies of pharmacologically active antiviral molecules in Gau mutra distillate and drug extract against Chikungunya and Dengue"
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Biosciences and Bioengineering, Virology, Microbiology, or related subject fields.
- Publication Track Record: Candidates must have at least one (01) research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
- Core Job Description: Candidates will handle molecular biology protocols, cloning, expression systems, basic molecular virology, cDNA preparation, RT-PCR, mammalian cell culture, in vitro cell-based assays for virus propagation and quantification, along with protein production and purification.
- Reservation Preference: Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.

- Detailed breakdown of past research, industrial, or field experience.
- Attested copies of certificates, academic degrees, and relevant experience letters.
