The BRIC-National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune, invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for a vacancy of Project Associate - I on an extramural research project purely on a temporary basis.

Project Title: "Determining the role of clathrin light chains in regulating mitochondrial function and morphology."

Monthly Fellowship Structure

• ₹37,000/- + HRA: To scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship or GATE) OR a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies/Institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.).
• ₹30,000/- + HRA: For other candidates who do not qualify under the National level criteria mentioned above.

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Four years Bachelor's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / B. Pharm or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on research experience in:
  • Confocal microscopy and digital image analysis.
  • Embryonic stem cell culture.
  • Western blotting techniques.

Note: Candidates without a final or provisional degree certificate signed by the competent institutional authority on the date of application are not eligible to apply.
